Clans: Blood and Moon
Vampires or werewolves? Choosing a race, founding a clan and life inside one.
Two races, one war
The world of Kanveay is built on a blood feud that has lasted for centuries. On one side stand the silent lords of the night, the Blood Clan — the vampires; on the other, the wild children of the full moon, the Moon Clan — the werewolves. You pick one of the two at sign-up, and that choice defines your character's identity.
🩸 Blood Clan — Vampires
Vampires are cold-blooded, calculating and elegant hunters. They move through the dark without leaving a trace and take their time choosing a target. Players who join the Blood Clan see themselves as part of the aristocracy of the night: patient, deliberate and deadly.
🌙 Moon Clan — Werewolves
The werewolves stand for untamed fury and the loyalty of the pack. When the full moon rises they transform and strike with direct, devastating force. Those who join the Moon Clan believe less in individual brilliance than in the power of moving together.
How does your race affect gameplay?
An important balance note: the two races have identical stats. Choosing Blood or Moon gives you no hidden attack or defence bonus. The difference shows up here:
- Who you will fight: in the arena and other attack content you are matched against players of the opposing race.
- Who you stand beside: the clan treasury, clan quests and shared goals are all within your own race.
- Representation in the rankings: the warrior counter on the homepage shows the live balance of power between the two races.
So the choice is not a mechanical advantage but a question of belonging. Joining whichever side your friends are on is usually the most enjoyable option.
Founding and joining a clan
Your race (Blood/Moon) is the side you are born into; a clan is a community founded by players. From the clan menu you can join an existing clan or start your own. Clans are locked to a race: a vampire can only enter Blood clans, a werewolf only Moon clans.
Every clan has a tag, and that tag appears before your name in the rankings, on your profile and in the arena. Carrying your clan's identity is at the heart of the game's social side.
The clan treasury and donations
Clans have a shared treasury. Members can donate gold to it, and the gold that piles up is used to raise the clan's level and reach shared goals. Clans that donate actively grow faster.
Roles inside a clan
The player who founds the clan is its leader. The leader can accept members, remove them and, if needed, dissolve the clan. A healthy clan is made of members who play regularly and support each other; replacing long-inactive members with active players speeds the clan's growth.
Fighting as a clan
The world boss is clan-based content: every clan has its own boss, only clan members can strike it, and the reward is split according to each member's share of the damage. This is the content that turns your clan into a real team — the details are on the Dungeons and PvE page.
Which side should I choose?
The short answer: whichever story appeals to you more. The long answer: if you pick the same race as your friends you can found a clan together and hunt the world boss together. If you pick opposing races you can attack each other in the arena — which is its own kind of fun.
