Quest System
Daily, weekly and monthly quests; the reward cycle and how to finish them efficiently.
What are quests for?
Quests are Kanveay's answer to "what should I do today?". They put clear goals in front of you when you log in, steer you towards different parts of the game and reward playing regularly. If you are not sure what to do, the quest list is enough.
Three separate cycles
Quests run on three periods, and all three are independent of each other:
- Daily quests — Refresh every day. Short, reachable goals designed for players with a few minutes a day.
- Weekly quests — Tougher goals. They fill up over the course of the week, so there is no need to try to finish them in one day.
- Monthly quests — The longest-running goals. Completing them takes serious effort, and the reward matches.
When is the reward paid?
An important point: the reward is paid not after each individual quest but when all the quests in that period are done. Finish all your daily quests and you get the daily reward; finish all the weeklies and you get the weekly one. This design stops you cherry-picking the easy quests and skipping the hard ones, and it makes completion feel like completion.
The game notifies you when you finish a stage and when a period is complete; you are pointed to the quest screen to collect the reward. You can turn these notifications on and off per period.
Different quests every day
Daily quests are not fixed; the system picks different ones from a pool each day, so you are not stuck doing the same five things every morning. The pool covers all of the game's content: hunting, dungeons, the arena, training, the shop and more.
Quest rewards
Quests give you experience (XP), gold and gear. Hard quests can occasionally give diamonds too — but diamonds are the game's most valuable currency and do not come easily; they appear only on the hardest quests, at a low chance.
Calendar rewards and quest rewards are deliberately kept separate: the reward for logging in regularly does not substitute for the reward for putting in effort.
Quests are hard — and that is how it should be
Quests are not a checklist you tick off without resistance. There is combat inside them: you run into demons, witches and creatures of that sort. As you level, the creatures you meet get stronger and new quests unlock. The point is that levelling should cost effort.
Premium quests
Past a certain level, premium quests unlock. Entering them costs diamonds and the creatures you face are noticeably stronger than usual. In exchange the rewards are far bigger: plenty of diamonds, multiplied payouts and guaranteed gear. A premium quest is an optional wager for players who trust their strength.
Finishing quests efficiently
- Check the quest list first. If you line up what you were going to do anyway with your quests, the same energy pays you twice.
- Advance the weeklies alongside the dailies. Most weekly quests fill up as a natural by-product of daily play.
- Plan your energy. Most quests need energy and quest points; logging in when both are full is the most efficient approach.
- Start the monthlies early. A monthly quest left to the end of the month usually does not get finished.
- Keep notifications on. Forgetting to collect the reward for a completed period is the most common mistake.
You will find what to do with the gold your quests earn in the Economy guide, and how to beat the creatures you meet on the Combat System page.
