Beginners: Your First 7 Days Roadmap
Use the newcomer bonus to the full and come out of day seven with a settled character.
When you take your first step into Kanveay the game quietly hands you a large advantage without announcing it on screen: the newcomer period. This guide is a day-by-day plan for spending it without waste. Every system we do not detail here has its own guide — the General Game Guide, Dungeons and Arena and PvP pages are the natural companions to this map.
🌟 First, know this: what is the newcomer period?
From the moment you register, for 72 hours or until you reach level 8 (whichever comes first), you hold two large privileges:
- Double XP and double gold. Inside this window, every hunt, every floor you descend and every fight you win pays twice the normal amount. That is why your first three days are your "golden age" — and the plan is built around it.
- PvP protection. While the window is open and as long as you attack no one, nobody can attack you. Careful: the moment you make your first attack this protection falls away for good. Jumping into the arena early means giving up your protection voluntarily.
Get to know your resources too: energy refills 1 every 60 seconds and its cap grows with your level; quest points refill 1 every 10 minutes; health drops only in battle and refills on its own 1 every 12 seconds. Levelling up completely fills your health and energy — so if your level bar is full when your energy runs out, your next action may bring you a free refill. The costs of the activities are as follows:
| Activity | Energy | Quest points |
|---|---|---|
| Hunt | 10 | — |
| The Well (per floor) | 10 | 1 |
| Raid | 10 | 1 |
| The Dark Lair (per room) | 12 | 1 |
| Duel | 12 | — |
| Arena attack | 15 | — |
| World boss strike | 25 | — |
The XP you earn is indexed to the energy you spend. So the secret of progress is simple: do not let energy sit at the cap, spend it regularly.
📅 Day 1 — Hunt, learn your stats, start the calendar
The first day is unglamorous but the most productive. Start with hunting: it costs 10 energy, spends no quest points and carries zero risk to your health — there is nothing to lose. Some of your prey (around 15 in every 100) may get away; even an escaped hunt leaves half the loot, so no hunt is a complete waste. A fine detail: half your intelligence is added directly to hunting gold — a clever hunter earns more from the same hunt.
On the training page, learn what the five stats do:
- Strength — your base damage.
- Defence — reduces incoming damage.
- Accuracy — your critical hit chance.
- Endurance — your health pool; +6 health per point.
- Intelligence — your critical hit damage and first-strike priority in combat: whoever has more intelligence strikes first. On top of that it adds to hunting gold — for a newcomer this is the most versatile stat of all.
Because stat costs rise exponentially, early points are cheap; put part of the gold you earn on day one straight into training. Finally, open the login calendar: it is monthly and cumulative — there is no streak to keep, and missing a day does not spoil your accumulation. The total number of days you log in that month unlocks the 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 thresholds. Take a look at the daily quests too; but know that the reward does not come per quest — it arrives as a single package once every quest in the period is finished. A day left half-done pays nothing.
📅 Day 2 — Descend into the Well
The Well is a floor-by-floor run dungeon: every run starts on floor 1 and ends the moment you lose. Each floor is a fixed 10 energy plus 1 quest point, and the cost does not rise with depth. Good news especially for you: the first 3 floors are deliberately kept very easy — new player protection. Memorise the rhythm: a chest every 5th floor (double reward), a boss every 10th. A floor pays a reward once a week, and these weekly gates refresh every Monday; the deepest floor you reach is also a permanent record with its own tab in the rankings — and that tab is always bot-free, so every name you see is a real player. Details in the Dungeons guide.
📅 Day 3 — Raids, the bestiary and the end of your golden age
The raid is the only creature hunt where you choose the tier yourself: the Hungry Ghoul at the bottom wins roughly 85 times in 100 but pays without a multiplier; the Ancient Beast at the top drops to 15 in 100 but pays two and a half times as much. The creatures scale to your level and do not get harder as you fight — try as often as you like. Do not miss the two daily bonuses: the hunt of the day (the same creature for everyone) pays a quarter more, and the day's first 3 victories pay half again as much — so at least three raids a day is very nearly free money. Every creature type you beat is written into the bestiary on your first victory over it; when the bestiary is completely full there is a one-off large reward. Start clearing the lower tiers early.
Today is also a double threshold day: the login calendar's day 3 reward (a bag of gold) unlocks, and since 72 hours have passed since registration, the newcomer period's double XP and gold ends (if you passed level 8 sooner, it had already ended). This is the arithmetic behind playing the first three days intensively: the same effort, twice the return.
📅 Day 4 — The Dark Lair and the Ritual
The Dark Lair is the Well's harsher sibling: 12 energy plus 1 quest point per room, the same run model, the same weekly reward gate, a chest every 5th room and a boss every 10th. The difference is in the reward curve: the gain per room is the steepest rising PvE curve in the game — whoever can go deep gets rich far faster than in the Well. But its bosses are correspondingly harsh.
Before you enter the Lair, learn the ritual. On the page for your race — the Rite of Blood (vampire) or the Ritual of the Moon (werewolf) — power accumulates by itself: 1 per minute, capped at 100. Once at least 20 power has gathered you can "fire" it: every 5 power gives all your stats +1 for 30 minutes, plus an instant burst of gold. The tactic is obvious: fire the ritual right before a hard run — a ritual fired at 100 power means +20 to every stat for half an hour. Two notes: ritual gold does not count towards the loot ranking, and leaving your power sitting at the cap stops the accumulation, so do not waste it.
📅 Day 5 — Mine and gear day
The Mine is the game's only passive income: you pick a shift of 1, 4 or 8 hours; the earnings work by the hour and by your level, and the shift XP comes on top. But do not misread the crucial rule: the shift runs in the background — hunting, dungeons, the arena, all stay open; being in the mine locks no page. The dig continues even if you leave the game; but if you end the shift early the accumulated gold burns. The right use is this: go on a long shift before you sleep, before school or before work — and you can even carry on playing meanwhile.
Spend your daytime on gear: buy pieces suited to your level in the shop, make a habit of picking up the once-a-day energy potions, and take a look at the player market — for floor-price rules and bargaining tactics, the Market and Trading Guide awaits you as a page of its own. Stock up on 30-minute stat potions from today but do not drink them: their place is right before a hard boss.
📅 Day 6 — Your first step into the arena
By the sixth day your newcomer protection has most likely expired; PvP is now real for you too. The first thing to know is the fairness of matchmaking: opponents are found not by level but by combat value — the weighted sum of your stats (with intelligence carrying the highest coefficient) is calculated and you are shown opponents of similar power, within a band of about a third either way. An attack costs 15 energy; the winner plunders a tenth of the gold in the loser's wallet — so do not wander around with unspent gold. A consolation: your items are never lost in any battle. You earn honour points and the loser drops 1; you cannot attack the same opponent repeatedly, there is a cooldown per opponent and a limit of 3 attacks in a 4-hour window. Attacking the weak is closed off by the system — punching upwards, however, is free. Stay away from the duel hall for now: there no regard is paid to the power gap and you never know who you will face; that is a place for people who like risk. All the details are in the Arena and PvP guide.
📅 Day 7 — Clan, world boss and the weekly rhythm
The seventh day is for socialising. You can only enter a clan of your own race; founding one costs 5,000 gold, but do not found one in your first week — join an established clan. The reason is not just the chat: the world boss is clan content. Every clan has its own boss and only members can strike it; a strike costs 25 energy, and when the boss falls the gold pool is split among the members in proportion to the damage they dealt. Even at a low level, every strike you land means a share of the pool — do not hold back, strike. Each time the boss is felled it is reborn one level stronger; this is the clan's long-term shared trial. Details in the Clans guide.
Today, also set your weekly rhythm: the weekly quests (eight demanding targets such as dozens of hunts, PvP victories, dungeon rooms and floors) pay a single package reward and only open once all of them are done — see now which ones will fill by themselves through natural play. The Well's and the Dark Lair's weekly reward gates refresh on Monday; plan next week's depth runs around that day. The login calendar's day 7 threshold also opens around now: a full energy refill and gold.
